The Cow Cottage
Welcome to “Cow Cottage”. We are right by the Puketapu Cycle track, 1 min drive to Shed 530 Winery & the Puketapu Pub. The river is 5 min walk away, great to cool off in the summer. Only 15 min drive to Napier, Napier airport & Hastings.
Whether you’re here to cycle the tracks, explore the wineries and local beaches, go Art Deco or simply relax, we are brilliantly positioned for you.
The space
Open plan lounge with fully fitted kitchen. 2 separate bedrooms with one double bed and 1 single. Bathroom with shower.
There is another 1 person cottage (also available to book) within the same fenced area if you are looking for extra space.
The Cow and Calf Cottages are fully fenced and away from the main house (and our 2 staffy dogs, although you are welcome to spend some time with them if you’d like . . . they’d love it!). There is ample off-road parking. Each cottage has its own decking and there is a shared outside area. The views are incredible . . . just look at the photos. There is very little light pollution, and we can sometimes see the Milky Way at night.

Feel free to come through to our garden to see our dogs Cassie and Mabel.

We have secure storage for bikes (please arrange your own insurance).
